This series is a celebration of the vulnerable you and the lucky people that are trusted enough to get to see it.
Growing up, I was a super shy kid. Full disclosure – I was a shy, chubby, weird little kid. We moved around a lot and when you’re introverted, it can be pretty tough to make new friends. If you’re “weird,” it is even harder to find “your people.” When I was very young, I truly considered my stuffed animals to be my best friends. They knew my secrets, comforted me when I cried, and were my trusted confidantes on random adventures.
Fortunately, as the years passed, I was able to find “real” people that showed me true friendship and love. These personal connections helped me to embrace my authentic self and all the weirdness inside of me. I have them to thank for helping me to eventually feel comfortable in my own skin.
This “Authentic You” series is a tribute to those private moments, when you let your guard down and just feel. While the whole world may not be privy to the most vulnerable version of any one of us, we all have those significant friends who get to see it. And the true upside is – they continue to love us anyway.

These are high-quality prints of my original illustration which was done by hand, with the textures and color added digitally. They are printed with a professional quality inkjet Epson on heavyweight photo supreme matte paper.
The prints will be stamped on the back by yours truly. They will come shipped to you via USPS in a clear cellophane sleeve within with cardboard packaging envelope to ensure a safe bend free delivery.
