Custom Pet Portrait
Like most pet owners, I am pretty obsessed with my dog, Olive. I’m not sure what I did before I had her, and each time she finishes the simplest of tasks, I tell her how brilliant and adorable she is. She is the inspiration for offering you a Custom Pet Portrait.
I am always so thrilled when someone approaches me to draw a portrait of their pet. These commissions tend to be my favorite because…
1.) I get to see a lot of cute pet photos, and 2.) I am welcomed into a world where people are as obsessed with their fur-babies as I am.
Our animals bring a lot of love and personality into our lives – that’s why they are so special to us. I consider these portraits a way to capture that feeling and make it a special, personalized piece for your home.
How It Works:
You supply me with a few photos of your pet. These can be quick snapshots or high quality images. Just something to give me the idea of what your pet looks like.
We then arrange a chat and you can give me specifics you’d like included in your portrait. Maybe your little one has a favorite activity or toy… or really, anything you can imagine. I’ve drawn everything from an astronaut dog to a royal family dog to a cat super villain. It can be as normal or as weird as you like.
During this consultation we will also discuss your style preferences (i.e. black and white original ink drawing, illustration overlaid on text background, full color illustration, etc.) as well as timeline expectations. **Please be sure to read special notes section below regarding the turnaround of your project.
Specifications:
With this package you will get 1 portrait of 1 pet. You can choose a 5″ x 7″ or 8″ x 10″ in size. If you would like something larger than that, please contact me at tami@tamiboyce.com and we can talk details on other sizes or printing options available.
This is a high-quality print of my original illustration which is done by hand, with the textures and color added digitally. It is printed with a professional quality inkjet Epson on heavyweight photo supreme matte paper.
The print will be stamped on the back by yours truly. It will come shipped to you via USPS in a clear cellophane sleeve within with cardboard packaging envelope to ensure a safe bend free delivery.
***Frame is not included.
Printed in High Color on an Epson Stylus Artisan 1430 printer.
Printed on Epson Enhanced Matte Paper (Heavyweight Stock).
Special Notes:
These portraits are original illustrations and one of a kind. Turnaround is dependent on my schedule and availability. If you need a portrait by a certain date, please let me know, but these requests cannot always be accommodated. Usual turnaround can be expected in two to three weeks, but can be longer during the holiday season or periods of high volume.
