Sending Some Love

long distance hug owl greeting card

About this time last year, I wrote a post about telling people that you love them and all the different kinds of love in our lives that are worth acknowledging. Little did we know how much harder it would become to reach out to our loved ones and how much more important reaching out would become. Sending some love went from easy carefree hugs and handshakes to zoom calls and waves through windows.

Hopefully, it has become apparent who your ride-or-die people really are. Perhaps it was a spouse who took on homeschooling the pack of wolves you created. Maybe it was the boss who understood the precautions you wanted to take. It could have been that friend who somehow makes a zoom happy hour still worth tuning into. Perhaps you’ve gotten to know those strangers on the other side of your fence and now share more than passing waves while mowing the lawn. Heck, any friend that simply kept you sane this year is someone to celebrate!

Who we love and how we love may have been put through the test this year, but hopefully those tests forged unbreakable bonds to help carry you through the future ahead. And while we still may not be able to be with those we love in all the carefree ways that we would like to be, I am hoping my love collection may give you a way to celebrate that love or share it with others.

For the month of February 2021, you can get 21% off prints and cards. Note that the sale does not end on Valentine’s Day because do any of us really know what day it is most of the time? I am making the code LOVEFOR21 good for the month so that you have more time to (remember and) send some love. The code is good for cards and prints in our love category as well as those in any other category in my shop (because, who am I to say that a llama riding a bicycle doesn’t say “love”)?

Here’s to love. Here’s to 2021. May sending some love get a little easier this year.
