Hello all and pardon my blog absence since the new year…holidays and honeymoons and catching-up-from-those-things, oh my! As I have posted before, I have been loving some of the sweet and interesting children’s books that have come my way for illustration. One such book was Pipsqueak the Puppy by Lissa Webber, which I wrote about in November.

Pipsqueak the Puppy is a story about a puppy who figures out how to use what she first sees as shortcomings to her advantage. Who can’t relate to this (or at least hope they can do the same)? This is certainly a lesson I hope my own nieces and nephews will take to heart.
Pipsqueak was recently reviewed by Bianca Schulze, the founder of The Children’s Book Review. I was excited to see Lissa get this positive review. I can only hope it brings more young readers to her book. Go here, to read the full review.
Adults looking for a picture book with a message of self-empowerment for youngsters that could do with a little boost of encouragement will be sure to connect with this sweet tale.
