A Book Project Celebrating My Early Work

I am very excited to have finished a book project that celebrates some of my earlier work. When I was first starting out, my illustration career was born out of a love for doodling and the support of incredible people around me.

After booking my first art show, it occurred to me that I had absolutely no idea what I would do for it. To meet the show’s deadline, I just started drawing, and one-panel comics were the first way I publicly expressed my ideas.

It took me a long time to become confident in my illustration style. The art world always seemed like a very serious and competitive place. But one day I realized that there are already plenty of artists who offer beautiful sunset paintings. The world needs me to create illustrations of washed-up unicorns and squirrel dictators.

I feel so incredibly lucky to do what I do for a living, and that has only been possible through the encouragement of my family, friends, and amazing followers.

This book is a collection of my favorite one-panel comics from those early days. They acted as visual experiments I conducted while seeking out my voice and style. I hope you see something that relates to you, touches your heart, or at least brings a smile to your face.

You can purchase a copy of the book through my web store, or on Amazon.
